VENUE INFORMATION
Arriving at the Theatre
The theatre doors open 30mins before the performance.
All our shows are general admission, so we recommend arriving with plenty of time to find seats and get settled before the show begins. Our Front of House team and volunteer ushers will be here to welcome you, scan your tickets and answer any questions you may have.
The theatre is an intimate space, so there’s no need to arrive hours early. Just give yourself enough time to get settled and enjoy the experience!
The Performance Space
Our 60-seat Rose McQueen Performance Space is an intimate, flexible theatre designed for contemporary performance and brand-new work. The space can be configured in different ways depending on the needs of each production, allowing artists to shape the relationship between the audience and the performance.
In 2026, our theatre was configured in thrust, bringing audiences around three sides of the performance space and creating an especially close-up experience. In 2027, we’re returning to a proscenium configuration, with the audience seated in front of the stage.
The flexibility of the space is part of what makes Here For Now unique. Every production has the opportunity to create its own world, and with just 60 seats, there really isn’t a bad seat in the house. You’re always close to the action, the artists and the story.
About the building
Here For Now Theatre is housed in a beautifully renovated historic building in downtown Stratford. Along with our public performance space, the building includes offices, dressing rooms and a green room downstairs, which are used by our artists and staff.
These backstage and administrative areas are not accessible to the public and are not part of the audience experience. Our public areas, including the performance space and washroom, are fully accessible.
Accessibility
We want everyone to feel welcome at Here For Now Theatre.
Our performance space is fully accessible. The entrance to the theatre is accessible by wheelchair ramp, and we have an accessible washroom available on site.
If you have specific seating requirements or any questions, please contact our Box Office. We’re happy to help make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
