BEFORE YOUR VISIT

Here For Now is a small independent theatre company in Stratford that produces new or underproduced one-act plays, especially those that tell women’s stories.

You’ll find our new theatre at 24 St. Andrew Street, Stratford, ON. The performance space seats 60 and is fully accessible. The public areas include a cozy lobby with a small bar, and two all-gender washrooms (one of which is fully accessible.)

The lower level of the building houses our rehearsal hall, dressing room and greenroom. These areas are not open to the public during performances. Thank you for your understanding.

Doors to the performance space open 30 minutes before show time. If you selected “will call” at checkout, you’ll need to pick up your printed tickets at the bar. Otherwise, please present your e-ticket to be scanned when entering the performance space.

The building is not open to public except for performances.

Because of the close, immersive nature of our theatre, we’re unable to seat latecomers once the performance has started. For the same reason, we can’t offer re-entry if you step out during the show. We invite you to arrive early, settle in, and enjoy the full experience with us.

The Pazzo Bar is located in the lobby and will be open before every show. We serve a selection of wines, beers, soft drinks, coffee and Rheo Thompson chocolates. Drinks are allowed in the performance space.

All our productions are one-act and run around 60 - 90 mins. Because most of the plays we produce are world premieres, we often don’t know the length of the production until close to opening. We will post the run time on the website as soon as we know it!

Photography or recording is not allowed during performances. Our performance space is very small and performers can hear every beep, buzz or ding, so please turn your phone off before the production begins.

Most of our productions are suitable for mature audiences. We do have a family-friendly Christmas show which is appropriate for children 8+. If you want to inquire about the suitability of another production in the season, you can always contact us.

If you are interested in become a volunteer usher, we would love to have you! Please check out our Volunteer page for more information.

We also have sponsorship opportunities available if you want to support a specific show and enjoy the perks that go with it! You can find more information about sponsorship here.

All tickets are general admission. If you have specific seating requirements, please fill out this form ahead of your performance so we can accommodate you.

Anything you want! Here For Now is pretty casual, so please wear whatever you are comfortable in.
