Written and Performed by Roy Lewis
Roy Lewis has enjoyed over thirty years on the stage. Raised in Birmingham England and Klienburg Ontario, his professional career in film, radio and television began in Thunder Bay Ontario. He has had a long association with Stratford Festival where he has played Bookseller, Cairon (The Neverending Story), Judge Hathorne (The Crucible), Reverend Sykes (To Kill a Mockingbird), Lepidus (Julius Caesar), Morocco (The Merchant of Venice), Capulet (Romeo and Juliet), Cyclops (The Odyssey). In other theatres he’s played the Stage Manager (Our Town), Abel Magwitch (Great Expectations) (Neptune); Mr. Potter (It’s a Wonderful Life) (Theatre NorthWest, B.C.); Charley (Death of a Salesman) (Drayton); Camillo (The Winter’s Tale) (Groundling). Roy has directed 10 plays, is a founding member of the Obsidian Theatre Company, Shakespeare in the Rough and is a published poet.
