Fiona is the Founding Artistic Director of Here For Now Theatre Company. Selected credits include The Farm Show: Then & Now and Resort to Murder at The Blyth Festival,  the Canadian Premiere of Girls & Boys as part of the HFN 2022 season and the Crow’s Theatre 2023 season, Angelina in Whack!(HFN), Senta von Schrader in Framed (Lighthouse), Louise in The Enchantment (HERE Arts, NYC); Bessie in The Young Ladies of Baddeck(Theatre Baddeck); Rose in Eigengrau, Elisabeth in Laundry and Bourbon(HFN). Selected Film Credits:  Constance Weatherly/Madeline Tomkins in Murdoch Mysteries (CBC); Donald’s Secretary in The Apprentice (Ali Abbasi/Apprentice Productions). Directing: Post Alice (HFN). ADAM STEINBACK

Technical Director

A lifelong musician and artist, Adam graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University's Bachelor's of Professional Music program in April of 2025. Through his studies and previous work including two seasons on the production team with Stratford Summer Music, he found a love for bringing projects larger than his own to life.

In pursuit of that passion, Adam returned to Stratford post-graduation to build a career in film music composition and live performance technology. The latter of which has brought him to Here For Now Theatre.

JOCELYN NICHOLSON

Jocelyn is a young, queer canadian performer based out of Stratford, ON. She is thrilled to be joining the Here For Now Theatre. She wants to thank her family and friends for their continuous support in her career, and for always believing in her dreams. As always, thank you for supporting the arts, and for supporting young artists! Mwah!!

SARA-JEANNE HOSIE

Here For Now credits : Myth of the Ostrich, Take Care and Alewives. Sara-Jeanne has been a national theatre artist for over 25 years and proudly dons many hats. With a driving passion for new work SJ finds herself at home at Here For Now Theatre. Sara-Jeanne is proud to be the original Canadian Alison Bechdel in Fun Home. She has performed on many stages including Musical Stage Co, The Charlottetown Festival,The Stratford Festival, Neptune Theatre, Chemainus Theatre Festival, The Belfry, Drayton Festival, and The Arts Club. Favourite roles include; Holly in Myth of the Ostrich, Mary in Mary Poppins, The Bakers Wife in Into The Woods, Salle Bowles in Cabaret, and Fantine in Les Miz. Most warmly known to audiences for her five seasons as the Villain in the Ross Petty Panto and her numerous productions as Patsy in A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline. Sara-Jeanne is also a director, a Dora-nominated choreographer (Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Eclipse Theatre) and former Executive Director of ETC. In February of 2020, Sara-Jeanne premiered her musical Talking Sex On Sunday at the Firehall Arts Centre in Vancouver. It was nominated for best production in the Jessie Richardson Awards. During the pandemic, SJ explored yet another avenue by opening a small business @fawn.overyou

Next up SJ will be playing Muriel Eubanks in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Mrs. Pugh Annie for the Stratford Festival. @sjhosie

JOANNE WALLACE

Susan Moffat
Chair

Susan was born and raised in Stratford Ontario.  After obtaining a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Windsor she has worked in the performing arts in a number of positions most recently as Managing Director of the Tarragon Theatre in Toronto.

Susan returned to Stratford when she retired and currently serves on the Board of Directors at the United Way Perth-Huron and previously served on the Board at Pal Stratford.

She is very proud to support the wonderful work being created at Here for Now Theatre.

Laura Dinner Treasurer

Laura Dinner was born and raised in Montreal, attended Queen’s University for Commerce, and is a generous patron of the arts in every form that she loves. She is a patron of the Stratford Festival, a member of the board of the National Ballet of Canada, former chair of the Tarragon Theatre, and former Vice Chair of the Gardiner Museum. She is a proud member of the Here for Now community.

Frances O’Malley
Past Chair

Frances O’Malley is a physician and Professor Emerita at the University of Toronto. During her academic career she served on many provincial, national and international medical committees. Dr. O’Malley was the recipient of several major research grants in the areas of hereditary breast cancer and predictive biomarkers in breast disease. She has published widely in these areas and is the editor of a book entitled Breast Pathology – a volume in the series Foundations in Diagnostic Pathology.

Since retiring from academic medicine, Dr O’Malley has trained as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. She currently teaches Mindfulness Meditation in the therapeutic setting.

Frances has had a life-long passion for professional theatre and live performance. 

She resides in Stratford and Toronto.

Jo-Dee Burbach Secretary

Jo-Dee was born in Toronto to Dutch immigrant parents. She has lived in three countries, and along the way earned a BA in Liberal Arts and an MA in Communication Studies. Since 1999,

Jo-Dee has lived in Stratford, Ontario, where she currently resides with her three children. She runs her own businesses in graphic design and communications, and has published and edited an online magazine about the Arts in Stratford. In 2018 she became a City Councillor for the City of Stratford, running on a platform that included creating affordable housing, expanding public transportation, improving walking and cycling infrastructure, nurturing a vibrant City culture, and developing forward-thinking environmental preservation and protection programs.

She received Optimism Place's Woman of the Year Award in 2020 in the category of Allyship & Advocacy for her efforts focused specifically on anti-Black racism in our community

Jessica B. Hill
Artist Representative

Jessica is an actor, playwright, and teacher. Born and raised in Montreal, she works as an actor in both English and French. She is a McGill University alumna and co-teaches Chekhov and Shakespeare at the National Theatre School.
Jessica has performed five seasons with the Stratford Festival. Here for Now Theatre was home to readings of her first two plays, The Dark Ladyand In Search of Catharsis. Both plays now have full productions planned for 2022/23. The Dark Lady had a staged reading as part of the Stratford Festival's Forum Events in 2021

Here for Now Theatre's mandate is something she holds very close to heart. She is honoured to have the opportunity to help support this wonderful company any way she can.

Jessica splits her time between Montreal and Stratford, and calls both places home.
