FIONA MONGILLO | Artistic Director
Fiona is the Founding Artistic Director of Here For Now Theatre Company. Selected acting credits include Sugar Road at 1000 Islands Playhouse; Reproduktion at HFN; The Farm Show: Then & Now and Resort to Murder at The Blyth Festival; the Canadian Premiere of Girls & Boys as part of the HFN 2022 season and the Crow’s Theatre 2023 season; Whack! at HFN; Framed at Lighthouse Theatre; The Enchantment at HERE Arts, NYC; Eigengrau at HFN.

CRYSTAL L. SPICER | Executive Director
Crystal brings more than 20 years of experience in the performing arts across music, dance, and theatre. A graduate of Grant MacEwan University, she has held leadership roles with some of Canada’s most respected arts institutions, including Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet and the Stratford Festival. She has served as Technical Director at the National Arts Centre and Production Manager with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and played a key role in the opening of Queen’s University’s Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts.
After returning to Stratford in 2023, she served as Executive Director of Stratford Summer Music, guiding the organization through post-pandemic recovery, securing new funding, and achieving a budget surplus. This appointment marks a meaningful return to theatre, the discipline at the heart of her artistic journey, where her passion for the arts will continue to thrive, grow, and contribute to the cultural life of Stratford.
SIOBHAN O’MALLEY | Artistic Associate & Marketing Coordinator

ADAM STEINBACH | Technical Coordinator
A lifelong musician and artist, Adam graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University's Bachelor's of Professional Music program in April of 2025. Through his studies and previous work including two seasons on the production team with Stratford Summer Music, he found a love for bringing projects larger than his own to life.
In pursuit of that passion, Adam returned to Stratford post-graduation to build a career in film music composition and live performance technology. The latter of which has brought him to Here For Now Theatre.
JOCELYN NICHOLSON | Social Media and Audience Experience Coordinator
Jocelyn is thrilled to be back at The Here For Now theatre for their first ever winter season! She is a graduate of St. Lawrence College for Music Theatre Performance. She is a trained singer and dancer and she is passionate about Directing and Stage Management! When she’s not at the theatre, she is making your favourite coffee at Revel downtown Stratford. She would love to thank her family and friends for supporting her no matter what path she’s on. Selected credits include: The Rules of Playing Risk, Not Just Empty Space (HFN), Mary’s Wedding, Stitches, Strings and Shadows (TIP), Luisa in Nine, Janet Weissin Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Cynthiain The Real Inspector Hound (SLC).

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Susan was born and raised in Stratford Ontario. After obtaining a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Windsor she has worked in the performing arts in a number of positions most recently as Managing Director of the Tarragon Theatre in Toronto.
Susan returned to Stratford when she retired and currently serves on the Board of Directors at the United Way Perth-Huron and previously served on the Board at Pal Stratford.
She is very proud to support the wonderful work being created at Here for Now Theatre.
Susan Moffat | Chair
Frances O’Malley is a physician and Professor Emerita at the University of Toronto. During her academic career she served on many provincial, national and international medical committees. Dr. O’Malley was the recipient of several major research grants in the areas of hereditary breast cancer and predictive biomarkers in breast disease. She has published widely in these areas and is the editor of a book entitled Breast Pathology – a volume in the series Foundations in Diagnostic Pathology.
Since retiring from academic medicine, Dr O’Malley has trained as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. She currently teaches Mindfulness Meditation in the therapeutic setting.
Frances has had a life-long passion for professional theatre and live performance.
She resides in Stratford and Toronto.

Alix was born in Cuba and has lived and worked as a lawyer in multiple countries in Asia, Africa and Europe, graduating from McGill and the University of Vienna along the way. She has a particular interest in intellectual property and data privacy rights in the creative arts and new technologies, and is an avid theatre, choral music and opera attendee. She is happily settled in Stratford, serves on the Boards of Shelterlink Youth Services and Gallery Stratford and volunteers with the Canadian Blood Service and the Stratford Concert Choir. Alix is delighted to be given the opportunity to contribute to Here for Now's vision and goals for the future.
Alix Grice | Secretary
Laura Dinner was born and raised in Montreal, attended Queen’s University for Commerce, and is a generous patron of the arts in every form that she loves. She is a patron of the Stratford Festival, a member of the board of the National Ballet of Canada, former chair of the Tarragon Theatre, and former Vice Chair of the Gardiner Museum. She is a proud member of the Here for Now community.
Laura Dinner | Treasurer
Jessica is an actor, playwright and director. She is a McGill University alumna and directs Chekhov at the National Theatre School.
She has performed nine seasons with the Stratford Festival, playing such roles as Helena in Midsummer Night's Dream, Viola in Twelfth Night, Helena in All's Well That Ends Well, Lady Anne in Richard III and has also been part of the original cast of several new Canadian works at the Studio Theatre.
Here for Now Theatre kick-started her career as a playwright with the staged reading of her two first plays, The Dark Lady and Pandora. Both plays went on to be published with The Dark Lady enjoying four productions across Canada and it's American premiere. A full production of Pandora was brought back to Here for Now for the winter 2025 season.
Here for Now Theatre's mandate is something Jessica holds very close to her heart. She is honoured to have the opportunity to help support this wonderful company as it has grown from here for now to here to stay.
Jessica B. Hill | Artist Representative
Patrick Smith is originally from a small town in Indiana and proudly considers himself “fully Canadian”, as he has lived in Canada for the past thirty years. A clinical psychologist by training, Dr. Smith was recruited to a leadership position at the Addiction Research Foundation (ARF) in Toronto and was the inaugural Vice President, Clinical Programs at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). He also served as the Head of Addiction Psychiatry at both the University of Toronto (UofT) and the University of British Columbia (UBC). Patrick served as the National President and CEO of the Canadian Mental Health Association and built and led the Atlas Institute for Veterans and their Families – the Canadian Centre of Excellence on PTSD and Related Mental Health Conditions- before happily retiring to Stratford.
Patrick has a longstanding interest in theatre, film, and screenwriting and has been involved as producer and executive producer on a few friends’ films. He has also served as a psychological character development coach for actors and script consultant.
Patrick and his husband, Peter, have been avid supporters of Fiona and the team and he is beyond proud to be able to support HFN as a new Board member.
